Novamber Meet Recaps
The Nova Senior Gold swimmers traveled to go to the Terrapin meet and the Senior Silver swimmers to the Kevin Perry meet held at FAST in the month of November. All other swimmers attended the Novamber meet at Woollett. The travel meets were successful and fun reported the senior coaches. There aren't many highlights as coaches and swimmers are using these meets to guage their progress going into Championship meets this December at Junior Nationals, Winter Age Group Champs, and Winter Invite.
Coach Joanna wanted to add the following for her Developmental swimmers at Woollett:
Another great meet for the 8-under Development Swimmers from Woollett!! Coach Joanna, Coach Kylie, and Coach Anthony were excited to watch the swimmers compete, have fun, and try their best!
Coach Leslie did have the following to say to her Nova Intro group at Woollett:
Congratulations to all swimmers who participated in the meet this past weekend. Anastasia Gershenovitz swam her first meet ever and had a great 100 Butterfly. Gasia Karakesis had a wonderful 50 Breaststroke and was able to see some progress in her butterfly kick. Nicki Holden did an awesome job focusing on her technique in all of her races. Carina Gleeson swam well despite not feeling at the top of her game. Luca Gleeson got into a competitive spirit always racing people in his heats. Allegra Gleeson enjoyed swimming some fast 25's. She did a great job of swimming fast without sacrificing technique. Ashley Tuley swam the 200 free and 100 fly for the first time and dropped about 2 seconds in her 100 IM. It was an overall successful meet for NovaIntro!
